Edison participates in the “Lions Club run for Hope 5K”

Everyone did a great job at the Stickney – Forest View Lions Club 5K Run/Walk for Hope for Breast Cancer and the Wellness House.  Sunday September 27th with over 200 participants, Edison school had several students, family members, teachers, and alumni get awards for their efforts.


Overall Female Runner Category:

Lisa Peters (2nd Grade Teacher) took 2nd place out of 200 people!!

Jonathan Martinez – 3rd Place (Mrs. Anisi’s 3rd Grade Class)


15 - 19 year olds:

Michael Crowley – 3rd Place (Alumni of Edison - Graduated 2010)


25 – 29 year olds:

Rachel Mangano - 1st Place (Edison School PE Teacher)


30 year olds +: (This was broken down into several Categories)

Chris Kosinski – 2nd Place (Edison School Professional)

Ana & Juan Ortiz – 3rd Place Each (Parents of Hele Ortiz)
